Breakfast and After School club - WOW Club

Hello and welcome to WOW Club!

We run the school’s Ofsted (URN 2835179) registered wraparound care provision every day of the academic year until 6pm. We also run holiday clubs through the school holidays. We follow exactly the same term dates as the school, which can be found here.

You can add us to your Tax-Free Childcare account now under the name WOW Club Loxwood. If you use childcare vouchers, please set us up as a provider and let us know if you need anything from us. We’ll be happy to help!

About WOW Club

WOW Club is a fun, friendly and interactive setting. Our focus is to provide an environment where children can learn through play. We aim to extend social and learning opportunities beyond the children's school day and to surround them with a team of caring staff who will get to know your child and plan activities to nurture their interests.

Children can play football, run around, have fun with our hula hoops, or create their own world outside in the school playground. We encourage children to go outside in all weather and they love the fresh air.

Inside, we have at least four stations, where children can join our daily, staffed arts and crafts activity, play with lego, play interactive board and card games, or play freely with their friends.

Breakfast club:

  •      7.30-8.00 am: Children arrive at the school hall and have breakfast. They will be allowed to play in our indoor and outdoor areas once they have finished their breakfast. We will have lots for them to do and operate a free-play system.
  •      8.30am: Children will be taken to their classrooms for the school start.

Needle-Felting Club:

  •      8.00-school start: children will take part in this lovely club run by Mrs Griffiths.

After School Club

After school club starts when your child finishes school and we collect them from their classroom. We offer several sessions and always hold some spaces for ad hoc bookings for those days where you just need a bit of extra time, as well as extensions if you’re booked for an early session but can’t make it on time!

The session timings are:

Session 1 - end of school - 4.30pm

Session 2 - end of school - 5.00pm

Session 3 - end of school - 6.00pm

Session 4 - 4.15-5.00pm (after school-run club)

Session 5 - 4.15-6.00pm (after school-run club)

We are flexible with pick up times and you can ring our doorbell if you arrive early to take your child home. We do operate a late fee for any parents who are late to collect their child. This enables us to keep our normal prices as low as possible.

Extra Clubs:

We are delighted to share a range of extra clubs we'll be offering from September 2025, as part of your child's WOW club booking.  We will be running an extra club every day, which you can sign your child up for. These clubs will be included in your WOW Club fee and places will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. If you sign your child up for a club, they will be encouraged to go to the club. However, if your child chooses not to go on the day, we will offer their space to other children at WOW Club.

All extra clubs will finish by 4.30pm.

In the rare event of a club teacher having to cancel their sessions, extra clubs will not be run, and no refund will be offered. Your child will join WOW club for that session.

Lego Club:

Lego club is a hive of activity every week! Each week, children can choose from our huge range of lego kits with instructions and build their own kit or work with friends! Our kits range from Disney to Star Wars as well as traditional construction sets. We encourage the children to take care of their kits and take pride in their creations and this is always a very popular club!

Creative Club (YR-2):

Come and join Creative Club, where children from Years R - 2 do a different creative activity each week. These sessions guide and nurture children’s creativity and provide a calm space for children to grow and hone their creative skills.

Gymnastics:

Our Wednesday gymnastics sessions are run by a coach from the amazing I-Star academy. Our enthusiastic coaches really drive the children to learn from them and these sessions are friendly and inclusive. Children will learn and improve their gymnastics skills each week.

Multi-Sports:

Open to all year groups, our coach Luca runs multi-sports. Luca focusses on a new sport each week, running mini-skills sessions and giving children an idea of all the amazing sports out there. He runs sessions on mainstream sports, but also some of the lesser known ones. Our active children absolutely love Luca’s sessions.

Scooter Club:

Scooter club is a chance for all of our children to let off some steam on wheels! We provide helmets, protective pads and scooters, so don’t worry about providing your own. We use a one-way ‘rink’ system and also have ramps so the children can try out some tricks! Spaces for these sessions are limited so book early to avoid disappointment!

How to Book a place at WOW Club:

If you have any queries about the booking process below, please see our bookings policy.

If you have never used WOW Club before, we will ask you to register as a new starter. This will involve completing two online forms and paying our £20 registration fee. You will only ever be asked to pay this fee once, and this ensures you have a profile set up on our system which is maintained by us. It also means you can make regular and ad hoc bookings.

Our new starters form can be found here. Once you have completed this, we will contact you to ask you to complete one more form and pay our registration fee.

Once you have a regular place at WOW Club, bookings work on a rolling basis. This means that your place will automatically roll over to the following term unless we hear from you. We operate an opt-out service, and therefore you must inform us by email if you would like to cancel your place. Cancellations will be actioned from the following half term after we receive your notice. WOW Club places are non-refundable from the point of invoices being sent.

Once your invoice has been issued, it is payable within 7 days. Should you need to make any changes once your invoice has been issued, these will be charged at £5 per change, to cover the accounting and administrative costs incurred by us to make these changes.

We are usually very happy to give deadline extensions for payments. However, if we do not hear from you to request this, a £10 late fee will be applied to overdue invoices per 30 days that it is overdue.
